Hurricane Sandy

Dear Shaklee Family Members,
Hurricane Sandy is one of the largest and most powerful storms to affect the United States in recent memory, the largest Atlantic hurricane ever known, and has impacted literally millions of people, sadly taking the lives of 170 or more as it cut across the Caribbean and made its way throughout our Eastern coast.

All of us at Shaklee are tremendously concerned for all who have been affected, and especially for our Shaklee Family Members who have suffered losses, damage and disruption to their lives. Shaklee Cares®, our non-profit organization dedicated to relief in times of natural disaster, will do all that we can to help. Here is what we have done so far, and will be doing over the next several weeks to support those whose lives have been impacted.
  • We have been in touch with our Business Leaders in the affected regions, and we are preparing to work with them to distribute Shaklee Cares Disaster Relief Packs to those who are in need. If you would like to assist in this effort, please contact Nel Prentiss directly at nprentiss@shaklee.com.
  • Shaklee Cares is also ready to accept grant applications for cash relief, to help those who need financial assistance.
  • To assist our Business Leaders in the East who may need more time to close out the month, Field Support will remain open for month-end transactions on Monday, November 5th and Tuesday, November 6th with extended hours from 6 am to 6 pm Pacific Time.
Listed below are some ways that you too can participate in this relief effort. The need is great, so whatever you can do to help will be so much appreciated. We send our love and support, and our prayers for the safety and well-being of all who have been affected by the storm, and look forward to doing all that we can to support you.

Sincerely,
Roger Barnett
