Wow now that was a challenge
Wow now that was a challenge! Had been working out to Rosalie Brown's Fitness Club 29 minute video. But decided it was time to step it up so here is the workout I did on the Total Gym today...If you have not done this workout you should works your entire body and you get your cardio in.
If you don't have one you need one. This is a great Item that will give you an awesome workout and you won't be killing your knees or back. Cannot praise this item enough.

I have posted before that my husband and I care for my mom in our home. And I can attest the Dementia journey is a rollercoaster ride of emotions I would not wish on anyone. One of the many ugly symptoms of this horrid disease is your loved one not wanting to eat. And I mean not wanting to eat anything at all.
When we first encountered this it was very distressing to me. I was watching my mother wither away going from a healthy 120 pounds to 98 pounds very quickly. We struggled with her daily to just eat anything. I knew I had to do something before it was too late. Our doctor told us this is just part of this process. There were two choices continue to struggle to get her to eat anything I could or a feeding tube. I dreaded the thought of a feeding tube. So we went on the hunt to find anything we could that may help her.
Of course Boost was the first pick! We bought high calorie boost by the cases and we were able to get her to drink them. But quite frankly they were not enough! So I had gone to GNC and found a few different high calorie shake mixes and decided to mix the boost with them. Well that did not work out she hated the taste. We even tried adding fruit and syrups to the mix it was a no go.
So I continued on with my search. We finally have settled on something she will drink and something I blend up with the Boost every day for her. Our last Doctor's appointment mom was back up to 106 pounds. Over the course of time we noticed she was eating more as well. Now I will point out we will still go through days here and there where she does not want anything to eat but at least I know she is getting the vitamins and minerals she needs through the shakes we give her everyday. Kombucha Tea does it do anything?
I am not a huge tea fan but do keep a bottle of Kombucha tea on hand. I will be honest here I am not a fan of how it tastes. However I do enjoy its benefits. I have found it to help the following. Well without getting graphic here it does clear out the intestines very well. And when I am consistent in drinking it, it keeps my stomach from feeling bloated. A about a month ago I was coming down with a cold. in combo with some garlic and vitamin C I also drank of large amount of the Kombucha tea. needless to say within a very short time my cold was almost gone and the symptoms were almost non existent. So I do highly recommend drinking it there are all kinds out there below is just one of them.

Several months ago I purchased a Silk'n FaceFX anti-Aging device. And like most was inconsistent in using it.
Well last Monday 10/10/2016 I got it out and decided that I would use it no less than 3 times a week. Today will be the third time I will be using it this week. But before I get into to what the results have been let me give you a little background on my skin and what I hope to achieve with the device. I turned 46 this year and well to be honest my skin was starting to look old. Wrinkles seemed to appear over night that I had not previously noticed. Crows feet at the corners of my eyes became deeper. My skin looked dull and I was getting tired of having my makeup sink into all my fine lines and wrinkles by mid day. Over recent months I attempted to cover my wrinkles testing all kind of makeup. None of which really worked. Either my face looked super greasy by mid day or the makeup would settle in. I also noticed my skin was sagging near my jaw line giving me that lovely appearance of a basset hound. Okay maybe I am exaggerating a bit there but still was sagging I started thinking maybe it is time for a surgical face-lift even going as far to research a good doctor. Soon realizing I am not rich and this was going to have a hefty price tag. After getting over that brief moment of yeah I am a working stiff and don't have a private jet to fly to the best doctor in the world for a face-lift I remembered. Some the problem areas I really want to improve were my wrinkles around my eyes, sagging jaw line, laugh lines, neck, forehead lines (I have had all my life) and last but not least these lines that have developed vertically along my lower checks.

I spend about 20 minutes using the device while I am watching TV or scrolling my time line on Facebook. My unit came with a small bottle of oil seems very similar to mineral oil. I place about a dime size amount of oil on my face and I am ready to go with Silk'n FaceFX anti-Aging device. pretty simple stuff. So over the next few months I will be posting updates. So far though I can say it was worth the purchase.

Tinnitus Terminator
Lets take a journey. For years I have suffered from Tinnitus a constant ringing in my head which has no known cause. It began years ago when I had two plugged ears and visited a local clinic. They washed my ears out with hydrogen peroxide and water. Within a few days I had a full blown double ear infection. Upon a doctors visit for this as I was in agonizing pain the doctor said it was the worst he had ever seen. I went through rounds of antibiotics over several months and the ear infection finally went away. Seemed every time I thought it was gone it would come back with a vengeance. But then came along the ringing. I tried everything to get rid of it including a trip to the dentist. Nothing worked. And since its onset I have suffered through 24/7 ringing. As the years rolled on I got used to the sound and I am able to function. But sleep is often hit and miss. I had truly given up on finding a cure and then came across something called Tinnitus Terminator. Now the question does it work? Since this program literately fell into my lap I am going to try it. And will post my results along the way. It is a 30 day program and requires daily sessions of sound therapy. Therapy I can do at home. I have looked at other therapy and gadgets but they were all way to expensive. So why not try this and hope for the best. So in order to record my progress I am setting up an event on my living green page and will keep you posted on the progress. I obliviously can not post the program itself due to copy right laws. If it works I will recommend it. If it does not work then at least I will save others from the hassle.

Love My Total Gym
After years of High Impact Aerobics and a few programs that were super intense my knees can no longer take the impact of these types of workouts. I turned to Total Gym and can state I have no knee pain or back pain working out on it. And I am still getting the intense workout to make positive changes.
