Ultrasound Treatment Could Help Restore Memory Of Alzheimer's Patients
A non-invasive scanning ultrasound can be used to treat Alzheimer’s disease, according to a discovery by researchers at the University of Queensland. The new technology is said to have the potential of fully restoring memory by breaking apart neurotoxic amyloid peptide plaques, which result in memory loss and cognitive decline.
